Ryan has been fantastic with my Mini Schnauzer. I’d been struggling for some time with his reactivity around other dogs, and it often made walks stressful. Ryan quickly assessed the behaviour and explained that it wasn’t fear-based, but more frustration from not being able to say hello. That alone gave me a huge amount of clarity.

He’s since given us practical techniques that have already made such a difference. On recent walks, my dog has been far more attentive to me, disengages from other dogs much quicker, and is overall more responsive when I guide him away. It feels like real progress and has made our time outside so much more enjoyable.

What really amazes me is how different my dog is when Ryan handles him, calm, well-behaved, and focused. Every session leaves me surprised at how much potential there is, and I’m really encouraged by the changes we’re starting to see.

I have a rescue border collie called Tilly who was 5 months old when I fortunately came across recommendation’s for Robinson K9 Academy (thank goodness we did ) I got in touch with Ryan as we were having pretty serious problems with Tilly. Ryan came to see and assess Tilly within a few days and after her assessment he quickly realised what the issues were and that she had extreme fear reactivity towards vehicles also other dogs and he concluded that she had probably not been socialised as a puppy to any outdoor activity or other dogs. Ryan worked out a training plan which we discussed at length and he put into action within days of the assessment, from the start of Tilly’s training Ryan has consistently shown his professionalism, understanding and compassion for Tilly’s situation. Ryan has worked hard with Tilly and us as a family and now we are able to cope with any situations more confidently. Tilly is young and still has a way to go but under the watchful eye of Ryan she is coming on leaps and bounds. Our work with Ryan is ongoing and we all look forward to the training sessions as he makes it fun for Tilly and us too. Thank you Ryan for everything you’ve done and continue to do for Tilly. We certainly couldn’t have done it without you. We would highly recommend Ryan from Robinsons K9 Academy to anyone.

Ryan came to see our 2yr old cocker spaniel Woody, who had been nasty to our other dog Jax. We thought Woody had Spaniel rage but after Ryan came and assessed Woody, watch what he did, monitored his behaviour came up with a plan.

This wasn't Cocker Rage. But tiredness for a spaniel that is totally wired and never rests.

Ryan gave us a plan to stick to and so far Woody is being managed well, although getting earlier to bed, it's his choice. A simple Kong in his crate and he is away.

Thus has let Jax be the loving dog he is without the worry of being attacked by Woody.

My name is Francesca, I have a six month Siberian husky and I have problems with my husky on the lead with being able to drag me about completely to the point I would not be able to walk her, I got in touch with Robinsons K9 Academy for help, I have already had two sessions and the difference I see in my husky is absolutely amazing and I genuinely can’t wait till the full end result if it wasn’t for him I would not already be at the stage I’m at right now so I 10000% do recommend, he’s passionate he genuinely cares for your dog and yourself and is there for support so I already couldn’t thank him enough

Robinsons K9 Academy has been amazing for our once hyperactive dog out on walks. Any dog that would pass us by would get barked at relentlessly and was an avid puller on the lead. I finally reached out to Ryan to help smooth these issues out and what a god send he has been. After a few 1-1 sessions I can finally walk Max with joy instead of dread. Ryan was very attentive with Max and knew instantly how Max clicks. He was extremely informative every step of the way and on how to tackle these issues outside of training days. Daisy our Minature Dachshund has been surrdfing from anxiety, hated walking out and was not good at meeting people or being in new situations. Ryan met Daisy and at the end of the first session had already improved in such a short time. Now she is a lot more confident, less anxious and enjoying walks a lot more. The change is enormous for such a short time and Daisy seems so much happier. I have also learnt a lot about Daisy and her behaviour and look forward to continuing our journey. 100% recommend Robinsons K9 Academy, Ryan is truly excellent, knowledgeable and passionate. Ryan has worked miracles with our Daisy, she now has good recall , walking on leash loads better , not pulling my arm out taking commands and really enjoying herself, she loves the whole sessions, thank you so much, loving my new dog.

After struggling to find training methods that work for our 14 month old fear reactive dog we came across robinsons k9 academy on a suggested post for dog training.

After the first session we knew he was the right trainer for us. We began to notice immediate changes within our dog due to the clicker training method.

He’s now less nervous, listens to us more and isn’t showing as much fear as he did.

Having struggled get my girlfriends 2 year old German Shepard to stop pulling on the lead. I contacted Robinson K9 Academy which was suggest through a friend and I was sent two packages to read on loads of do’s & don’ts.

I applied a few of the easier techniques the very same day and the transformation was unbelievable in Apollo (the dog). Easy to understand and apply the techniques.

We had a great session with Ryan. He is very calm and Angus responded to him instantly. The progress made on just the first day was more than I could have hoped for or expected. We had our first session today and we are super happy. Ryan is very friendly and calm, he gave us great advice and we saw a lot of progress today already. Overall, super happy and the fur babies really enjoyed themselves as did we.

We just had our first session with Ryan, following a recommendation. I have to say he was absolutely superb and Loki was so responsive. We’ve recently brought a new addition to our home, which caused added anxiety and stress to our existing pet Pablo in the home and walks.
